Checking In, Taking a Breath, Touching Base....

January 26th, 2018 at 03:18 pm

So...if I tried to share with you how crazy my travel and work schedule has been over the past month or three, this blog entry would go on for day. Suffice it to say, I am alive, blessed, healthy and praying for strength!

I have been engaged with the Money Saving Bingo Chart. I have to admit, I have skipped ahead and deposited through 8 weeks thus far. It's fun and I really can't wait to reap the benefits of the efforts.

I have really taken a greater focus on my health. My caloric intake has been reduced, high end vitamin mixes, zero candy, drinks outside of water and a much reduced intake of carbs. I am down 10 solid pounds which is inspiring. I started at 195 and feel great at 185.

I hope you are all well, have a great day and awesome weekend!

Happy to hear from you and see the side bar update. Do you also track retirement investment balances? Delighted you decided to focus on your health and have already shed 10 lbs. In view of our government investigative reviews of 'Vitamins' and the vast category of health care food powders and non prescription plant/weed concoctions, I am curious how you came to choose the vitamins you take. Did a physician conclude they were needed given lab results?

Looking forward to hear your progress and fun.

Hey Snafu. First, thanks for the reply, I hope all is well with you and yours! I do track retirement investment balances, however, I do not publish them on this forum. Regarding my vitamin regimen and diet/health updates, I take three Isotonix Vitamin powders. The first is a multivitamin. This supports a strong immune system, cognitive performance, supplements dietary deficiencies and promotes skeletal, muscle and skin health (I am 46 so it seems like the right time). The next is OPC-3. This is a powerful antioxidant, promotes cardiovascular and joint health, helps maintain normal cholesterol and blood glucose levels (I am Type 2 Diabetic so in conjunction with glucose, the normal treatment includes cholesterol and blood pressure management), demonstrates anti-inflammatory activity and supports normal blood vessel functions. Finally, I take the vitamin d with K2. This helps maintain cardiovascular health, promotes healthy arteries, promotes normal bone mineral density and immune health.

My significant other, who is an exercise, tae-kwon-do, healthy eating nut ball (LOLOL) is a registered distributor so we get a major price break. She has a personal trainer that works out of her office gym so between them, the link was established.

I've never been more than a regular multi vitamin pill every day, however, I believe this process is much more beneficial.

Its as if you had a great grasp on the subject matter, but you forgot to include your readers. Perhaps you should think about this from more than one angle.
